Susan's  love of taking photographs of people palaces and things and her longtime passion of writing poetry and haiku is what  inspired this gallery.   She has used pictures taken of places she has visited or things that have enlivened her life and then has worked with photoshop in an artistic way using filters, dropping color here and there, drawing with a brush or removing color.  A Haiku may have been written after the completed photograph or she selected one written in the past, perhaps on a walk in the Oregon woods.   For example,  "Abstract Windowsill" is a building in NY which she took while on a walk November 2009. She modified and played with the image to create a collage effect and then added a haiku after it was completed.  Each photograph is an original as well as her 575 haiku.  I hope to inspire others to play and have fun.
